Check into the hotel before meeting your own private skipper for the day. He will introduce you to the boat, explain the route and all you need to know for your trip on the canal.
The 50ft cruiser comfortably fits 12 people and you can enjoy the views along the Weavers Triangle  and Burnley Mill either from inside the boat or on the upper deck.

The boat is fitted with a fully functioning kitchen and bar, a wood fire log for the cold days and a music system. The canal tour includes free tea and coffee, but you are more than welcome to bring your own drink, if you want to test your cocktail making skills in the bar. So whatever your party requires from drinks to music, you can have it all here.

The cruise itself will take about 2hrs and stop at the Inn on the Wharf, so that you can have some free time during the evening. But if you like, you can also extend the cruise, this can be booked in advance and is only 50 GBP for each additional hour.

Your overnight stay at the Holiday Inn Express includes free complimentary breakfast and is based on a Twin or Double Room. After checking out the next morning you can enjoy the countryside in and around Burnley, which invites for walks, excursions and many other outdoor activities.

The Leeds Liverpool Canal is a stretch of 127 miles of stunning water system in between the cities of Leeds and Liverpool in the North West of England. It was built in between 1770 and 1816 and passes by the Burnley embankment, which is now commonly known as the ‘Straight Mile’ and is part of the seven Wonder of Britain’s water system.

A cruise on the canal is the ideal way to spot wild life and watch birds along the river bank. It will take you along the beautiful rural countryside of Lancashire and is definitely a different way to spend a mini break.
